the setting sun lights our scene, 
the rocks and trees give us a set to play,
the lone guitar provides the score-
a crooning voice soaring to the sky.
my eyes and brain add the effects,
shifting and designing the world around me.
and we- the players, lazing in our various places-
waiting for the curtains to rise,
for the stage manager to call our cues,
and the audience to applaud.
